There are many ways to make a donation, such as employee matching program
through your employer, writing a check to UCP-ToyLend or purchasing items
on our wish list. Don't forget that charitable contributions are tax deductible.

We Need Volunteers!
Toy Helper : 3 hours per Month
Details: Assist with toy cleaning, maintenance, repair, and inventory.
Also, assist with adapting toys and getting toys donated. This is a fun
volunteer opportunity that has flexible hours, helps lots of children
and teaches you a lot about toys.
Skills: Someone who is not afraid to open up a toy and try to
fix it. The toys may also be taken home to work on them.
Advisory Board Member : 3+ hours per Month
Details: We are seeking someone who is motivated, will assist
with fundraising, and has experience with non-profits. The commitment
includes a monthly meeting, fundraising, networking, and being an ambassador
for ToyLend. Please email if

Skills: Desire to help children with special needs!
Grant Writer : 5+ hours per Month
Details: We are seeking volunteers to assist with grant writing
and fundraising.
Skills: Good writing skills and creativity and experience with
grant writing.
General Program Assistance : 2+ hours per Week
Details: Help with maintaining our databases, scheduling appointments,
updating and maintaining our resource center, and etc...
Skills: Willingness to work.
Event Planning : 8+ hours per Event
Details: We need volunteers that will spearhead or assist with
various family and/or fundraising events throughout the year.
Skills: Willing workers.
Playgroup Assistant : 2+ hours per Month
Details: Playgroups are on Saturdays and generally run for one
hour each. We usually have about six families with ten to twelve children
ages 3 to 9. The entire family participates. These groups are a fun way
to volunteer and to help children.
Prerequisites: All volunteers must come to ToyLend prior to the
playgroup to complete paperwork, etc.
Skills: Love of play, and willingness to help children have fun!
Bob-the-Toy-Builder Person : 3+ hours per Month
Details: We are looking for someone that likes to take things
apart, see what makes them work, and get them working again. We are also
looking for someone who can take an idea, then design and build, and make
it real.
